The journal makes the following corrections to the published article:
We have observed that articles published in the journal include references that are unrelated to the subject of the article and/or the context in which they are cited. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
‘Protective effect of rosmarinic acid against 5-fluorouracil-induced cardiotoxicity in mice via modulation of inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis and restoration of NRF2/HO-1’.
The following references were unrelated to the subject of the above-mentioned article and/or the context in which they were cited:
‘The 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) agent is widely applied in cancer chemotherapy (Hashem et al., 2022; Potnuri et al., 2018).
